Security is Our Top Priority
We use secure technology to verify your application. To ensure your safety and prevent fraud, we can only accept applications with your bank account details. Providing inaccurate information, including using someone else’s bank account, can lead to your application being withdrawn.
If you are self-employed
Please note that we do not take self-employed income into account during our affordability assessment, this means that we cannot offer you a loan if you rely solely on your self-employed income.
We can however offer a loan to you if you are self-employed and in receipt of additional benefits, if the loan is deemed affordable.
Open Banking: A Secure and Convenient Way to Apply
We use Open Banking technology to securely access your bank statements directly. This eliminates the need for manual uploads and keeps your information safe.

What is a
credit
union?
Credit unions are owned and run by the people who use their services. This means they can focus on what really matters. And that’s helping people, not chasing profits.
We deliver a range of competitively-priced financial products and services to our members from all sectors, including both the traditional banking customers and those who have been previously without access to banking facilities.
Who can join us?
Our loans and savings accounts are for people living or working anywhere in Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire (excluding Humberside). They are also available for NCHA residents and those working for one of our payroll partners.
If you don’t qualify, there are many other local credit unions who may be able to help.
